Domestic leagues: Kozuv with a hard fought home win over Kumanovo

KK Kozuv defeated KK Kumanovo 83-79 at home in the 4th round of the Superleague of Macedonia. With this result Kozuv is still second in the standings with 3 wins and 1 defeat while Kumanovo is fifth with 1-3 record.   Kozuv started very well and took an 11-point advantage after the first quarter. At the halftime break the lead went up to 14 points but after 30 minutes Kumanovo cut the deficit to just 7 points. In the last ten minutes both teams fought hard and at the end Kozuv came out winners.   Aleksandar Sterjov had 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Igor Mijalovic also scored 20 points while Slaven Cupkovic added 13.   For the visitors extremely good performance had Uros Lukovic who finished with 41 points and 12 rebounds. Marjan Janeski had 12 points while Vukasin Mandic added 9.
