KK Kumanovo 2009 to continue for third straight season

KK Kumanovo 2009 will play in EUROHOLD Balkan League for third straight season. The Macedonian team confirmed its desire to be a part of the competition and the management of the League accepted them.

Season 2014/2015 will be the third straight for Kumanovo in the tournament. In the first one the team reached the Final 4 but lost both its matches and finished 4th. In the second Kumanovo got to the quarterfinals but was eliminated by the eventual champion Levski.

Kumanovo′s home games attracted a lot of interest and were ones of the most visited in the competition. The support of the fans was crucial to the team and it helped the players to achieve better results. All the teams found it very difficult to visit Kumanovo and for sure it will be challenging to play there in the next season as well.

A few days ago in an interview  the Sports Director - Mladen Davidovic, explained that the budget and the ambitions of the team will be bigger. The management already re-signed Vukasin Mandic and is in negotiations with Uros Lukovic and the head coach Ljubisav Lukovic to continue playing in Kumanovo. Aleksandar Sterjov is also close to sign for the team as well as some foreigners.
