Domestic leagues: Rilski Sportist lost for first time this season

After two wins in EUROHOLD Balkan League and one in the local championship, Rilski Sportist lost its first game. The team from Samokov visited Lukoil Academic and was defeated 91-105.

After an even first half Lukoil made two runs in the third quarter which decided the outcome. First the team scored 8 straight points to go ahead by 7 and then a 7-0 run put them up by 12 which was enough until the end.

Vernon Taylor had 28 points for Rilski while Zlatin Georgiev added 16 and 7 rebounds.
