KK Kumanovo 2009 defeated KK Sutjeska in home and here are some quotes after the end of the game:

Igor Mihajlovski, head coach of KK Kumanovo 2009: "I think that this first win in the Balkan League is very important for us. After the game in Peja, where we had a good result, this game was decided by our larger rotation. I think that our team has good chemistry and we have to mention also that we have eight new players and we need some time. I think that until now for that short period we function well and soon we′ll offer even better games. In the second half I said that we need to play better defense, to rebound well, to play better transition and in the end I think we deserved to win."

Vukasin Mandic, player of KK Kumanovo 2009: "It was very important win for us after this unlucky defeat in Peja. I think all team played well, it was a quality game from Kumanovo and we have to continue like that and I hope we′ll have a good season in the Balkan League."

Dusan Dubljevic, head coach of KK Sutjeska: "Kumanovo had better rotation in this game as we were without our second point guard. We had to dominate at position 5 with Nemanja Arsic but couldn′t do it. They knew how to use the pick & roll and did it making a 10-point advantage. We haven′t lost anything with that defeat. I hope we can win at home and qualify for the next round."

Nemanja Vranjes, player of KK Sutjeska: "I think we didn′t respond in the best way in this game. We spoke about this in the locker room. Our team is young and started very bad the match. Then we came back but couldn′t complete it in the final quarter. I congratulate Kumanovo - we didn′t have an answer about Mandic who is probably the best offensive player in the Balkan League. We fought hard but didn′t succeed at the end."
