Domestic leagues: Wins for Sigal Prishtina and Peja before the derby

KB Sigal Prishtina had a more difficult than usual time before defeating Vellaznimi 83-76 at home. The champions won the first three quarter and led by 14 points but in the end the visitors cut their deficit down and the game wasn′t as open as it was supposed to be. Dardan Berisha was the top performer for the win with 22 points and 8 assists as Edin Bavcic had 12 points.

KB Peja had no trouble in winning the local derby against Besa 102-79. Playing as visitors the guys in yellow controlled the game and left no doubt they are the much better team. Samir Shaptahovic had 22 points and 4 assists as Drilon Hajrizi added 21 points.

Sigal Prishtina is first in the table with 8 wins and 0 defeats while Peja is second with 7-1. At the end of the week both teams will meet in Peja for the second big derby of the regular season.
