Kozuv stayed perfect after win in Prishtina

KK Kozuv won its seventh game in a row in group B of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Gevgelija visited KB Sigal Prishtina and took 100-87 victory after very good performance in the second half. After 20 minutes the visitors were down but they fought back after that, used their deeper bench and won the match. In the last round of the First Stage Kozuv will host Vllaznia while Sigal finished the group with 4-4 record.   The game was even until after the middle of the first quarter when 7-0 run for Kozuv put the team up by that much. Sigal managed to cut some of its deficit and in the second quarter tied the game. Then the hosts went to make a 12-1 run that started with triples by Vucurovic and Berisha and suddenly took a 10-point advantage.  Still Kozuv managed to cut some of the deficit and were down by 6 after 20 minutes.   Shortly after the break Kozuv tied the score and after that the teams started to exchange points and fight very hard. At one moment the visitors scored 6 points in a row and went up and after 30 minutes they led by 4. The last quarter started with two triples for the visitors and the difference went to 10 points. This proved to be the turning moment as until the end Kozuv controlled the match and won it.   The visitors scored 13 three-pointers compared to Sigal′s 7 which proved too much on this night.   Six players of Kozuv scored in double figures with Vladimir Brckov having 21 points and also 9 rebounds. Filip Sepa had 16 points as Milan Janjusevic finished with 13.   For the home team Edin Bavcic had 26 points and 17 rebounds but missed 11 free throws. Dardan Berisha added 17 points as Nate Bowie had 13.
