Six straight years for Can Do Basketball referee camp in Bulgaria

Can Do Basketball referee camp is being held in Bulgaria for sixth straight year. The camp this year is being held in Sofia, Bulgaria, and was once again organized with the good cooperation of Bulgarian basketball federation and all the clubs involved. 
 
A total of 88 referees from 29 countries have come this year, including 11 from Balkan countries, with eight of them being from Bulgaria, including the last two internationals - Martin Horozov and Svetlana Stoyanova. There are also 12 instructors including Davorin Nakic, Alan Richardson, Richard Stokes, Shay Shtriks, Valentin Lazarov, Gjorgi Piperkov, Miodrag Licina, Leonid Chudin Petar Obradovic, Igor Dragojevic and others. Dragojevic and Obradovic have also been chosen to be among the referees that will officiate at Eurobasket 2015 for Men.
 
To Sofia also arrived Sergey Fomin - the head of the referees in Russia, to come and see the level of officiating and the organization of Can Do Basketball Education & Training camp.
 
The referees are officiating the games of U16 championships for both boys and girls and also games from an Amateur league that was organized by the Bulgarian basketball federation and is a good project to be build on in the future.
 
The referees are officiating 14 games each day and are also working with a new and modern system. There is also a fitness coach who is responsible for their preparation and their physical development in the future.
