Domestic leagues: Peja won the first final at the buzzer

KB Peja took the first victory in the Finals of Kosovo league. The Yellows defeated KB Sigal Prishtina 77-76 at home to take the lead in the series.

 

The match went down to the wire as both teams fought very hard. Peja took an 8-point lead after one quarter but at the break the score was tied. Sigal took a 4-point lead but still the match was close. With 12 seconds to go Sigal had 1-point edge but there was time for Peja to respond. After Hajrizi missed, the ball somehow went in Alban Veseli′s hands who scored at the buzzer to give his team the victory. 

 

Ronald Davis and Alban Veseli were the top scorers for the winners with 16 points apice while Fisnik Rugova, Drilon Hajrizi and Kevin Burwell had 12 points each.

 

For the visitors Andrew Warren had 16 points while Edmond Azemi added 15.
