Program for the First Stage of BIBL

The program for the First Stage of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League is now ready. The management of the competition worked hard in the past days to fix the schedule in the right way and it has been set.

While making the program, the league took into consideration KB Sigal Prishtina and KB Peja′s participation in FIBA Europe Cup and also KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 participation in ABA League. The management hopes that there are not going to be any big changes to the schedule but of course any request by a federation, a team or a TV will be considered. 

The program of the First Stage offers a lot of attractive and interesting games. It′s certain that the battle for the Top 4 places will be intense and it should continue until the last rounds. The best four teams from each group will qualify for the Second Stage where they will be divided in two new groups.

The official Opening game of season 2016/2017 will be on October 10th when SK Tirana will host KB Trepca. However the competition will start the previous week when on October 4th the champions KB Sigal Prishtina will welcome at home KK Kumanovo 2009.
