KB Trepca recorded its first ever win in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. The team hosted KK Karpos Sokoli 2000 and won dramatically for the delight of its fans. Here are some quotes after the game was over:

Neven Plantak, head coach of KB Trepca: From tactical point of view my players in the court performed what we have agreed and worked before this game, but during the first half we missed some open shots. With its experience Karpos pushed us to make some defensive and offensive mistakes and that was the reason why they were leading. However at the end thanks to the courage and the big hearts of the players, we managed to win this match."

Valdrin Haxhiu, player of KB Trepca: "When comparing our team to Karpos Sokoli, it′s obvious that they have more experience in international competition. The main factor that helped us win was the courage and desire to do it. I would like also to thank our fans for their support during the whole game."

Sinisa Matic, head coach of KK Karpos Sokoli 2000: We had some defeats in a row and for us winning this game was very important in order to regain self-confidence. We tried to do so, we controlled the game until the last minutes, even led by 12 points, but we did some mistakes in offense. Then the triple by Scott tied the score and at the end it was hard for us to win the game when we need to compete in such atmosphere."

Filip Bakoch, player of KK Karpos Sokoli 2000: "We lost the game in the final 90 seconds. We had some bad decisions in the last quarter, especially in defense. In the final one and a half minute we also had lack of concentration and all those things were decisive for our defeat. Losing like this really hurts."
