KB Peja won the derby of the third round in Kosovo league. The Yellows continue with the perfect record as they defeated KB Trepca 56-54 away. The game was a real drama as the home side took a 10-point lead with 7 minutes to play. However after that they didn′t score a single point as Peja finished the game on a 12-0 run. The hero for the winners was LaMarcus Reed who scored the winning basket in the last second.

 

Salih Nuhanovic had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Peja as Alban Veseli added 11 points. Frederic Stutz answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the home side while Montreal Scott had 11 points.

 

KB Bashkimi also had its third win a row after downing Vllaznimi 85-59 at home. It was an easy game for the hosts who led from start to finish and were never in doubt for the outcome. Mikaile Tmusic had 20 points for the victory while Kayel Locke added 14 and 15 rebounds.

 

In this same round the champions KB Sigal Prishtina had their first win of the new season. After two straight defeats they beat Kerasan 99-54 at home. Only the first quarter was an even one as the difference was just 4 points. After that though Sigal stepped up and took first victory under the new head coach Jeronimo Sarin.

 

Fisnik Rugova was the top scorer for the win with 18 points and 8 rebounds while Edmond Azemi and Jabarie Hinds added 15 points apiece.
