Levski won against OKK Beograd by 92:84 at home, in the most interesting game of round 7 of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, and remained second, while OKK Beograd dropped down from the #1 spot, which went to Feni Industries.

That was the last game of long time FIBA referee Mr. Nikos Zavlanos, as he was presented with a couple of awards on a farewell ceremony before the game.

OKK got off to a good start of the first quarter, as they took a 5 to nothing advantage. Levski quickly melted the deficit and from now on it a was a tied game. After ten minutes of play it was 21-21.

The second period wasn`t much more different than the first 10 minutes, as both teams tried to get ahead of the opposition, but they couldn`t. Finally, Levski settled in to win it 22:20, and to get a 2-point lead at the halftime break.

After halftime, Levski managed to finally get ahead of their opponents, and got a 57:52 lead. That didn`t last long, as OKK quickly got back in the game, and the score was once again tied - 60:60. Anyway, after baskets by Harper and Zlatin Georgiev "the blues" were up 5 after 30 minutes - 66:61.

Levski got off to a great start of the closing quarter and started building a margin quickly. They were up by double digits for the first time in the game - 72:61. OKK didn`t give up, and after another strong run, cut down the deficit to just 5 points - 80:75. In the closing minutes, OKK got a technical foul which more or less decided the situation, and Levski got the win by 92:84.

Aaron Harper and Stefan Georgiev scored 21 points each for Levski`s win, as Toro added 8 rebounds, before fouling out. Donald Cole finished with 15 points, while Asen Velikov added 11.

Nikola Korac had 22 points for OKK, and Dragan Mitrovic had 11 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double so far. Branko Andzic also had 11 points, while Milos Suzic and Dragan Kruscic added 15 and 13.

OKK played without their top-scorer Nikola Lepojevic.
