Zhelev and Yanev lead Bulgaria U20 to Division A promotion

         Bulgarian U20 national team finished second in U20 European Championship Division B Group E and will face the host of the tournament - Austria in the semi-final. Yesterday Georgi Mladenov squad lost to Sweden 61-74, but with a 5-0 record in their previous games, young Bulgarians secured their spot in the semis.
                   Euroins Cherno More - semifinalist from the EUROHOLD Balkan League last edition has 4 representatives in the Bulgarian squad. Aleksandar Yanev, Tihomir Zhelev, Vasil Kyosev and Stanislav Tsonkov showed an excellent performance during the championship. Yanev was the most efficient player to the moment with 21 points. 9.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for 23 index. Zhelev was the key player for the success over Israel 62-57, scoring 9 points ( 3 three-pointers ) in only 2 minutes.
