KK Mornar Bar finished their participation in the group phase of the EUROHOLD Balkan League in the best possible way. In their game from Group B against BC Mures, which was last for both teams in the group phase, Mornar won away from home.
 
The first quarter started with a three by Nikola Ivanovic of Mornar for 0:3. In the opening minutes Mornar were playing better, as the home side BC Mures had their first lead halfway through the quarter - 12:10 with 5.34 remaining. Mornar didn′t score a basket for more than three minutes before Radoje Vujosevic dunked to put an end to the drought and also to Mures′ 10:0 run. After 10 minutes of play, the home side had a 22:20 lead.
 
BC Mures couldn′t break ahead by more than 3 points in the beginning of the second period, as Mornar were right behind them, always tying the score. The home side led by more than 3 points for the first time with 4.34 to go - 39:35. However nothing good was ahead for them, as Mornar made a 14:2 run which gave them a 41:49 lead with 55 seconds remaining. At halfime the Montenegrin team had a 45:52 lead.
 
After the halftime break Mornar quickly increased their lead to double digits - 45:56 with 8.39 to go in the quarter. Eventually the home side would score 14 points in the third period, against 22 for the visitors from Montenegro, which put Mornar ahead by 15 points - 59:74 after 30 minutes of play.
 
After just 55 seconds were played in the fourth period, Mornar already held a 20-point lead - 60:80 after Ivan Jelenic scored his 20th point of the game. With 8.05 remaining until the end of regulation, the visitors had their biggest lead of the game - 27 points (60:87). Nothing changed until the end of the game, and Mornar took a 81:102 win which would put them up on the first place in Group B at least until tomorrow night when Feni will play their last game.
 
Five players from Mornar Bar finished the game in double digits - Ivan Jelenic had 20 points and 4 assists, while 19-year old Nemanja Radovic had 19 and 8 rebounds. Nikola Ivanovic and Miroslav Damjanovic scored 13 points each, as Ivanovic added 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Mirza Sarajlija finished the game with 12 points.
 
Aleksandar Mladenovic led BC Mures with 34 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Liviu Dumitru scored 17 points, while JuJuan Cooley finished with 7 and 12 assists.
 
Mornar finished Group A with a balance of 6-2 and it′s for sure that they will be in one of the first two spots, depending on the exit of the game between Balkan and Feni tomorrow. Mures have a 3-5 balance in the end of their debut participation in the EUROHOLD Balkan League.
