No Final Four in EUROHOLD Balkan League this season

EUROHOLD Balkan League will add something new for the upcoming 2014/2015 season. During the pre-season meeting it was decided that there will be no Final Four at the end of the tournament. The clubs agreed that in the new system there will be two finalists which will play home and away game to determine the champion.

The season will start with two groups by 5 teams with the last one in each group not advancing to the second stage. Then the teams will be divided in two new groups with the results from the first round counting. In Group C will go A1, B2, B3 and A4 while in group D will play B1, A2, A3 and B4. In this stage each team will play four matches.

The winners of groups C and D will qualify directly for the semifinals while the teams finished 2nd and 3rd will play quarterfinals first.

Generally two of the teams will have eight games during the season and for other teams the minimum is 12.
