10-10-2014 | 13:10
KK Kozuv starts this season with renewed roster and new ambitions in EUROHOLD Balkan League. The team from Gevgelija will try to improve its performance in the competition and will start with big ambitions. Last season the team finished last despite starting very well and the season before that played in the Last 4. Now Kozuv will certainly aim to do better and the roster is quality enough to meet the goals.   From the main players from last season only the captain Miladin Pekovic and Zlatko Gocevski will stay in the team. Pekovic will once again have an important role at the shooting guard while Gocevski will most likely struggle to get a lot of minutes. Goran Glavchev also stays in the team will try to develop his game and will fight for more minutes.   The point guard position will be shared by Nikola Korac and by the experienced Eftim Bogojev. Both have been a part of EUROHOLD BIBL before and are good additions to Kozuv′s roster. Serbians Filip Sepa and Milan Janusevic are also new to the team and they will get their minutes on the wing along with Pekovic. The two new players already showed they are adapting well to the team and their signings for now are proving to be positive.   Kozuv strengthened the team a lot also under the basket. The team signed Uros Lukovic who was one of the top players in EUROHOLD Balkan League in the previous two season. He will share minutes at the center with Drasko Albijanic as both players have the height and the bodies to dominate down low. Vladimir Ivelja and Vladimir Brckov are the two new names at the Power forward positions. They also bring their different skills to the team and are set to be an important part of the rotation.   Kozuv has a new coach in Marko Icelic. He is familiar with the competition as he was at the helm of OKK Beograd before and knows the league. His aim of course will be to achieve the highest possible position at the end.
