Domestic leagues: Important win for Rilski Sportist

Rilski Sportist recorded a very important away win in Bulgarian league. The team from Samokov visited Levski in Sofia and took a precious 81-62 victory. This puts Rilski in very good position to take third position at the end as for now the team is with 14-8 record, the same as Cherno more.

Rilski started very well and took 16-6 lead. Levski managed to close the gap quickly and the game was close until the break. In the third quarter the visitors made a 15-0 run which broke the game open and they cruised on until the end.

Vernon Taylor had 22 points for the winners. Zarko Rakocevic had 16 and 14 rebounds while Zlatin Georgiev added 14 points and 6 assists.
