The annual Pre-season meeting was held Suite Hotel in Sofia

The annual Pre-season meeting of all the clubs in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League was held for second straight year in Hotel Suite in Sofia, Bulgaria. Once again the hosts did their best to provide everything necessary, were open to anything and also deserve praise for the way of accepting the meeting. 16 representatives of all the participating teams travelled from Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro to come and hold a discussion about all the issues regarding the upcoming season.
 
The meeting started with the presentation of the new name of the competition - SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League that was announced earlier this week. Somes of the teams were represented by their presidents while others by managers working in the clubs.
 
On behalf of the league at the meeting were present Shay Shtriks - Sports Director, Kamen Toshev - Competition manager, Lubomira Shtriks - Marketing and Advertising director, Lubomir Neshev - Media and Office manager and Lili Borisova - Statistics manager. Ms. Borisova is the newest edition to the team of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League and she will be responsible and will coordinate the LIVE statistic during the matches of the season as she has proven herself during the years.
 
At the meeting there were different discussions held regarding the competition and everything around it. Mr. Shtriks explained the idea for the new system and once again underlined that every single team has two chances to advance to the Top 8 thanks to the Qualification round. There were also discussiong regarding the calendar, the Marketing ideas of the competition, the TV rights and eligibility of players. The way of work and collaboration between the league from one side and the teams from the other was confirmed and the meeting ended with with positivity.
 
SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League wishes to all the teams a successful season, good and quality games and more positive moments. The opening game is on October 13th in Prizren between the debutant KB Bashkimi and KB Peja.
