Domestic leagues: Peja won the derby with Sigal Prishtina

KB Peja won the big derby of Kosovo league with KB Sigal Prishtina. The Yellows took 94-80 home victory to increase its lead at the top of the table. 

The home side won the first two quarter to take 9-point lead but it was cut to 4 after the third one. In the last ten minutes however Peja played very good in offense, scored 29 points and delighted its fans.

The hosts scored 13 triples compared to 9 for Sigal Prishtina which proved to be the difference.

Fisnik Rugova had a great game for the winners with 27 points and 15 rebounds while Alban Veseli had 19 points.

Mohamed Abukar was the top scorer for Sigal with 16 points as Dardan Berisha added 14, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. It was the first loss for the team since Antonis Constantinides took over as head coach in January.

Peja is the undisputed leader and already won the regular season. The team has 21 wins and 1 defeat with two games to play. Sigal Prishtina is second with 17-4 record while Bashkimi is third with 13-7.
