Domestic leagues: Seven in a row for Beroe

BC Beroe recorded its 7th straight win in Bulgarian league. The team from Stara Zagora hosted BC Levski 2014 and took 82-71 victory after a hard-fought game. 

 

Beroe will finish either second or third before the playoffs. With two rounds to go the team is tied with Balkan with 19-6 record and is waiting for a mistake by the opponent. 

 

The game was very close for 36 minutes with both teams exchanging points and leads. In that moment Beroe made an 8-0 run which took the advantage up to 11 and decided the outcome.

 

Evrik Gary finished with 23 points for the winners while Aleksandar Todorovic had 16 and 12 rebounds. 


Stanislav Slaveykov had 23 points and 8 rebounds for Levski while Aleks Simeonov finished with 15 and 7.

 

With two rounds to go Levski is 7th with 10-15 record and has its sights set on the 6th place.
