Albania may once again have a team in BIBL

The Sports Director of the competition - Mr. Shay Shtriks, spoke with the president of Albanian federation - Mr. Avni Ponari, and they discussed this option. There is a strong possibility that Albania will have once again a team in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League from the next season. 

Albania already had one representative in BIBL back in season 2014/2015 when Vllaznia played in the competition. Mr. Ponari and Mr. Shtriks have spoken about the next season and have agreed that a local team can play in the competition again. There is a possibility for one or two teams from Albania but more information will be known in the next few weeks.

At the moment in the local championship Vllaznia and Teuta are the teams playing in the Final. The series is tied at 1 win apiece as both squads took victories on their home courts.
