KK Kozuv to continue in the Balkan League for fifth year

KK Kozuv will play in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League for fifth straight season. The team from Gevgelija confirmed its participation by sending the necessary documents and will remain in the BIBL family.

Kozuv started playing in the Balkan League back in season 2012/2013. The first two campaigns were not that good for the team but in the last two they did very well and reached the semifinals twice. However first they were ousted by KB Sigal Prishtina and then last season by KK Mornar. 

During season 2014/2015 KK Kozuv managed to establish a BIBL record by winning its first 11 games of the competition. However that was not enough as in the semifinals the team lost to eventual champions Sigal Prishtina.

Last season Kozuv finished 5th in Macedonian league and reached the semifinal of the Cup. A few days ago Kozuv confirmed that the new head coach will be Vrbica Stefanov who is one of the legendary Macedonian players. Now the management of the team will start also to work on completing the roster for the upcoming season.
