The annual Pre-season meeting was held in Sofia

The annual Pre-season meeting of the teams in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League took place in Hotel Tsarsko Selo in Sofia. Representatives of the clubs travelled from Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and of course Bulgaria to come and hold a discussion about all the issues regarding the upcoming season.

On behalf of the league were present Shay Shtriks - Sports Director, Kamen Toshev - Competition Manager, Lubomira Shtriks - Marketing and Advertising director and Lubomir Neshev - Media and Office Manager. The BIBL representatives addressed all the issues and things that the teams need to know and should do before the season starts.

There were different discussions held at the meeting and some questions, mainly from the new teams. The Competition Manager - Kamen Toshev explained the system of competition and the change from last season. One of the them is that the results between teams that played in the First Stage will count in the Second and also the addition of the Third Stage or the Quarterfinals. 

A very important issue is of course the Marketing area and they way of collaboration between the team and the league was agreed. At the end the meeting finished with positivity and now everybody is looking for the start of the season.

SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League wishes to all the team a successful season, good and quality games and more positive moments. The Opening game is on October 10th in Tirana where two debutants will meet - SK Tirana against KB Trepca.
