Domestic leagues: Tirana outplayed the champions in Round 1

SK Tirana started with a win the new season in Albanian league. The team from the capital hosted the champions KS Vllaznia and won 82-65 to the delight of the local fans,

Tirana won the first two quarters to take a 9-point lead at the break. The team kept its advantage after 30 minutes and then in the last ten increased it.

Red Vogli was the top scorer for the win with 18 points adding also 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Manuel Johnson added 15 points while Endrit Hysenagolli finished with 9 and 5 rebounds.
