Great first quarter leads Teodo to first win

KK Teodo recorded its first win of the new season in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. It came at home in Tivat where the team hosted KK Kozuv and won 85-79. The game started very well for the winners as they took an early first quarter lead. After it Kozuv tried hard to overcome the deficit but at the end the home side held on. Next match for Teodo is against Beroe while Kozuv will visit Kumanovo.

Kozuv had a good start and led early by 5 points but then Teodo stepped up. The hosts made a great 17-0 run to go up by 15 points and held the difference until the first quarter finished. Teodo controlled the game in the second period and then in the third Kozuv closed the gap to just 4 points. The hosts however responded with 7-0 run but the visitors again weren′t giving up. In the fourth quarter the gap was even cut to just 3 points but in the final minutes the hosts held on and won.

Milos Djurisic had a very good game for the winners and finished with 20 points and 6 assists. Radomir Marojevic added 18 points while Milan Stanojevic had 17.

Kenyon McNeail had 19 points and 7 assists for Kozuv as Milivoje Mijovic and Robert Abramovic added 18 points apiece.
