Quotes after the game BC Beroe - KK Teodo

BC Beroe recorded a very good home win over KK Teodo. The Stara Zagora team lead from start to finish and played a great first half to build a big lead and take the victory which sent them through to the Second Stage. Here is what both head coaches said after the game was over: 

Lubomir Minchev, head coach of BC Beroe: "We played really well for 35 minutes but in the last 5 we got relaxed and there was a danger to lose our advantage. It′s even two and a half minutes, not five, in which we could′ve lost the advantage we needed. We had to win by 14 or more points due to our defeat by 13 in Tivat. The last five minutes really made me angry. As for the rest of the game I think we played well. Sometimes I can′t control everything as we didn′t play with big focus in the final minutes. I was telling the players to play focused, to be careful and not to react on eventual provocations by the opponents."

Miodrag Kadija, player of KK Teodo: "A very hard and difficult game because Beroe is a quality team with a very good head coach. They had great shooting percentage in the first half, including from the 3-point line. I can only congratulate them about that success and wish them to play in the final of the competition. We have one more game against Bashkimi in Prizren which we need to win to advance. We have a young roster, we had a hard trip and what happened in this game was normal."
