KK Kumanovo 2009 to participate in BIBL again

The SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League 2016-2017 runner-up KK Kumanovo 2009 is officially the 8th participant of BIBL Season 2017-2018. And this will be a fifth participation of the Macedonian team in the competition.

In 2012-2013 Kumanovo took 3rd place in Group A in the First Stage, the 4th in the Second Stage and lost to Galil Gilboa in the Semifinals. Next season the Blues took 6th place in the Regular season with a 6-10 record. In 2014-2015 the Macedonian team finished in 1st place (5-3) in Group A of the First Stage, then took 2nd place in the Second, and lost to Rilski sportist in the Quarterfinals.

Last year KK Kumanovo 2009 took 2nd place (6-4) in Group A of the First Stage, 1st place (5-1) in Group D of the Second, and finished as a runner-up after losing to BC Beroe (0-2) in the Finals. The team also reached the Macedonian Supercup Semifinals and the Macedonian League Semifinals, as well.

KK Kumanovo 2009 is the second Macedonian team in BIBL upcoming season. The newbie in Prva Liga BC Blokotehna will also start its rookie season in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League.

The 2017-18 BIBL Calendar and Schedule will be announced until 7^th September.
