First trophy for BC Beroe for 2017-2018

BC Beroe won a first trophy for 2017-2018. The SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan league defending champion defeated PBC Lukoil Academic in a thriller game for the Bulgarian SuperCup, 86-85.

The team from Stara Zagora was down by 15 points throughout the first half, but managed to come back and even gained a double digit lead in the third quarter. It all came down to the last 3 seconds, when a free throw made by Alexander Davis sealed the final result.

Aleksandar Yanev and Alex Davis (13 rebounds) scored 20 points each for the winners. Anthony Raffa and Hristo Nikolov answered with 27 points each in losing effort.
