Fotios Takianos: We showed character and heart on the court

KB Bashkimi recorded its first win of the season in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. That happened in new head coach Fotios Takianos debut in the competition. Here is what he had to say after the match was over: 

"First of all I have to congratulate the players because they had a tough game. Our team showed character and heart in the court. Then I would like to congratulate our opponents who are an experienced team. We dominated them in the second half when we build a lead that we managed to keep until the end.

We need more time to practice as I arrived in Prizren just a week ago. We need to improve some things in our game and I strongly believe that when we have more time to practice we′ll be better and better. I have to mention that our captain also made something important in order to help the team as we forced him inside and he was ready." 

Qendrim Biraj said the following after the end:

"It′s important to mention that we have a different spirit since the arrival of the new coach. We have made many changes both in offense and defense. All the players gave their maximum and it resulted in the first victory of the competition."
