Domestic leagues: Big first quarter gives Blokotehna the victory

KK Blokotehna-NB recorded an easy home victory in Macedonian league. The Gevgelija team hosted Karpos Sokoli and won convincingly 94-81.

The home side started really well and scored 30 points in the first quarter to take 20-point advantage. The visitors though responded by cutting the deficit with a good second quarter but after the break Blokotehna controlled the game and had no problems to win.

Stojan Gjuroski and Cedrick Bowen had 15 points apiece for the win with the American grabbing 13 rebounds for a double-double. Danilo Mijatovic had 11 points.

After 19 rounds Blokotehna is second in the standings with 16 wins and 3 defeats and after MZT lost the team consolidated that position even further.
