Asen Nikolov: Bashkimi is a better team than what we saw in Plovdiv

BC Akademik Bultex 99 is having a good debuting season in international competition. The team is just a step away from the Final Four in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League but it′s a tough step to take. On Wednesday the Plovdiv team will visit KB Bashkimi in a first playoff game and here is what the coach Asen Nikolov had to say before it: 

"I′m sure that Bashkimi is a better team that what they showed in Plovdiv 20 days ago. Moreover they have a new player at position 4 who we know is a good player. For sure the game will be different and hard for us and we′ll approach it with a big responsibility.

We are looking to make difference between Bulgarian league and the Balkan league. Of course the win against Rilski will just give is better mood but will not make us calmer before the game with Bashkimi. The games against the Kosovo side are really important for us and we can′t make mistakes. 

I would like my players to play hard defense in Prizren and use every chance for a fast break in order to try and get some easy points. I hope that we′ll get a good result before the second game in Plovdiv."
