Bashkimi welcomes Akademik Bultex 99 in the second playoff

KB Bashkimi against BC Akademik Bultex 99 is the second playoff of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League. Tonight at 19.30 hrs local time in Prizren they will meet in the first playoff game of their quest for the Final Four. The match will be broadcast LIVE on KTV, SportMedia.tv and YouTube.

The teams exchanged one win during the season but Bashkimi is a completely different squad from the one in December. They met also 20 days ago in Plovdiv when Akademik won by a big margin but these games are different.

Bashkimi made a lot of changes since the start of 2018 and now it′s the time when the team seems to be clicking. The newest addition Frederic Stutz will add more power under the basket and the expected return of Urim Zenelaj will also be a boost. Of course the hosts will rely also on the triple-double machine Aaron Moss, the good form of Mikaile Tmusic and the energy of Vincent Zollo and Altin Morina.

On the other side Akademik is also an improved team since its last visit in Prizren. The Plovdiv side has Maravic and Dimitrov under the basket who provide decent options. They also have Umipig, Durchev and Bachev starting on the wings with Gruev coming off the bench. He has a lot of BIBL experience and also started the season in Bashkimi so will be eager to prove himself and play well.

Both sides will be aiming to give their best and get a good result before the return leg. That′s why we should expect an intense battle and some good basketball on the court in Prizren.
