Domestic leagues: Blokotehna lost to the champions

KK Blokotehna suffered another defeat in Macedonian league. At home the Gevgelija team was beaten by the champions MZT Skopje 66-75 in a very important clash. With 8 rounds to go before the playoffs the teams are now tied with 18 wins and 6 defeats and will fight for the second place.

The visitors scored a lot in the first quarter and had a 6-point lead. In the second the home side improved the defense but manage to cut its deficit by just 2 points before the break. MZT came out better in the third period to go up by 10 points and the visitors held on to that advantage until the end controlling the difference and not allowing any chance for Blokotehna.

The top scorer for the hosts was Goran Glavchev with 11 points. Shakir Smith added 10 as Anton Kazarnovski and Dwayne Benjamin scored 9 apiece.
