Domestic leagues: Blokotehna to finish third before the playoffs

KK Blokotehna-NB lost all chances to finish second in the Macedonian Superleague. The Gevgelija team lost to Kumanovo 83-89 away and now is one win behing MZT Skopje with one round to go. However even if the teams are tied the advantage will be for the capital team. It′s clear though that the two teams will meet in the semifinals with MZT having home advantage.

Against Kumanovo, Blokotehna didn′t start well and was down by 11 points after ten minutes. The team tried to come back but before the final period the difference was 14 points. With 90 seconds to go the visitors cut the gap to just 5 but that was the most they could do as the home side held on.

Cedrick Bowen was the top scorer for the visitors with 16 points. Stojan Gjuroski and Shakir Smith were the next best ones with 15 points apiece.
