Teuta to make its debut in the Balkan League
Balkan League will have a second newcomer in the upcoming season. After KB Shkupi the other new team that will join the competiton is the Albanian club Teuta.
Teuta will make its debut in the Balkan League and will try to impress immediatelly. The team from Durres had a very good season in Albania and came really close to winning the title. Teuta lost the Finals to Tirana by 2-3 wins and now wants to go a step higher. Part of that is a participation in an international competition and Teuta will try to do well in its first international season. Before losing the Final, the team won the Supercup and it was a good sign of things to come.
With the two Albanian sides (Tirana and Teuta), the teams for the new season have now become six. Prior to Tirana and Teuta, the Bulgarians BC Akademik Bultex 99 and BC Beroe and also Macedonians KK Kozuv and KB Shkupi confirmed that they′ll be a part of the league.
