Akademik wins two matches in Romania

BC Akademik Bultex 99 traveled to Romania to play two friendly games and came back home after winning them both.

The Plovdiv side met Dinamo Bucharest first and took 76-65 victory. After a great second quarter Akademik managed to go up by 17 points at the break and then after 30 minutes was up by 22. That was more than enough for the team as coach Kostic gave chance to more players in the final period when the hosts cut the deficit but that was it. 

Aleksandar Gruev had 17 points for the win as Peter Olisemeka added 13 and 11 rebounds.

In the second game Akademik met Craiova and won 80-73. The team again played better in the second and third quarter managing to build a big enough lead to preserve it until the end.

Daishon Knight finished with 27 points and 5 assists for the win as Mladen Vitkovic scored 15 points.
