It′s time to start

The season in the Balkan League is about to start. Tonight at 19.30 hrs local time in Prizren KB Bashkimi will welcome BC Beroe in the first game of the campaign. The match will be broadcast LIVE on the local KTV and on YouTube.

Last season′s finalist Bashkimi did a lot of changes to its roster during the summer and is completely a new team. That means that they will need some time in order to develop a chemistry and a good team play. The roster is relatively young and the international games will be a valuable experience for the players. Alexander Gorski and Jordan Capps are expected to be the go-to-guys for the team 

Beroe on the other side comes back to the league after winning it in 2017. The Stara Zagora team has big ambitions for the season and is expected to be one of the favourites to win again. Head coach Lubomir Minchev is leading a deep and talented team led by Tihomir Zhelev and Aleksandar Yanev alongside the foreigners Conner Frankamp, Dallin Bachynski, James White and Adonis Filer. All those players with Nikolay Stoyanov and Stanislav Vaklinov are the ones that will try to lead Beroe to glory. The Greens enter the league sure to battle for the trophy and they would want to start in a convincing way.
