Lubomir Minchev: I′m mad at how we finished the game

BC Beroe recorded its third straight win in the Balkan League. The Stara Zagora team ousted BC Academic Bultex 99 away to go out on top of the standings together with KS Teuta. Here is what the head coach Lubomir Minchev had to say after his team′s win.

"I′m extremely mad with the way we finished the game. We were up by almost 20 points but did the same as in Stara Zagora against the same opponent. We allowed them to cut the gap to just 4 due to our mistakes and stupidities. In the last quarter we made 6 turnovers and allowed 10 fast break points. And that happened in just the last 2-3 minutes which made me very nervous. We had a similar letdown after the middle of the second quarter as well.

However in general in this game we did what we prepared for it and I can′t be not happy. We have had problems this season - we didn′t have a normal practice for 17-18 days as at times we praticed with just 6-7 players. At least now though we don′t have problems and the necessity to change players with new ones. We are expecting back soon White and Tonev and everything will be ok."
