Barsy to debut against Academic Bultex 99 in St. George Sports complex

Tonight will mark the debut of BC Barsy in the Balkan League. The Kazakhstan team will enter the competition against BC Academic Bultex 99 and will start a run of three games in three straight days. The match will start at 19.00 hrs local time in Sofia and will be played in St. George Sports complex. It will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube and SportMedia.tv.

Barsy will try to surprise Academic in this game. The team can count on experience players like Bojan Bakic, Dmitry Klimov and Mikhail Yevstigneyev who are the ones with the most games. Alongside them there are Vladimir Ivanov, Dmytro Tykhonov and the most efficient player of the team Pavel Ilyin who is supposed to be the main go-to guy in the team. It will be interesting to see that Barsy has to offer and of course how its players will perform and if they will challenge Academic.

The Plovdiv side is coming to this game which is a must win for them. Vasil Bachev and Daishon Knight have been the top scorers so far but the important news is the return of Aleksandar Gruev who will organize the offense of the team. Under the basket Olisemeka, Vitkovic and Vujovic will try to dominate and not allow Barsy to have easy points and lots of rebounds. So far in the season Academic has won only outside Plovdiv so tonight is a good chance for them to do it again. It will be important how the team will start the game and of course how they′ll adapt during it when they get to know the opponent more.
