Aleksandar Vrzina: We came to learn

BC Barsy Atyrau debuted in the Balkan League with a defeat to BC Academic Bultex 99. The Kazakhstan team seemed tired and missed some opportunities but the lack of experience also was seen in this game. Here is how the team′s head coach Aleksandar Vrzina commented the defeat:

"It wasn′t as we expected. We came to learn. For us it′s a new basketball, a new style than we are used to. We have a lot of young players this season and we want to develop them. It′s not an excuse but on Friday and Saturday we had two very tough games in our league, than we had a long travel and it affected a little bit our game.

We need some time to adapt, to adjust to the new conditions. We are going to work and we′ll be better next time. We′ll go one game at a time. We′ll analyze the match with Academic, to see what are our problems and will try to fix some things for the next ones. We are looking forward to the coming games."
