BC Beroe recorded its fourth straight win in the Balkan League. The Stara Zagora team visited BC Barsy Atyrau in St. George Sports complex in Sofia and took 78-60 victory after leading from the first quarter until the end. The players of coach Minchev controlled the game and always were in the better position to win it. As for the Kazakh team they did much better than yesterday and certainly can take some positives from that match. On Thursday evening Barsy will play its last game during this trip as it will host KK Kozuv again at 19.00 hrs.

The game was even for the first five minutes when the visitors made their break. In just two minutes they made an 11-0 run to pull away by double-digits and kept the difference until the end of the first quarter. Beroe continued to play little bit better in the second quarter and managed to increase the advantage. At the break it was 19 points and with a 7-0 start of the third quarter the Kazakh players closed it. The visitors from Stara Zagora however responded and controlled their advantage until the end.

The biggest difference between the two teams was the three-point shooting. Beroe hit 12 triples from 32 attempts while Barsy was just 4 of 22.

Conner Frankamp was the top scorer for the winners with 20 points while Aleksandar Yanev had 19.

Pavel Ilyin led Barsy with 16 points and 6 rebounds as Bojan Bakic had 13 points.
