Blokotehna hosting Academic Bultex 99 tonight

The Balkan League continues tonight with one game. At 18.30 hrs local time in Gevgelija KK Blokotehna will mark the team′s first game of the season. It will be against BC Academic Bultex 99 and will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube and SportMedia.tv.

The home side will of course be looking to start with a victory. In order for that to happen it will count a lot on players like Goran Glavchev, Danilo Mijatovic, Marjan Mladenovikj and Povilas Gaidys who is a newcomer to the competition. For that match the team will have the help of Brandon Penn who arrived in Gevgelija few days ago and is ready for his debut.

On the other side Academic has a lot of problems. The Plovdiv side arrived to Gevgelija without Daishon Knight, Nikola Vujovic and Mladen Vitkovic who most probably won′t play. That will give coach Kostic a lot of problems especially under the basket where the two Serbians are playing. By adding also one of the league′s top scorers and it happens that the other will have to carry a big load. This is a good time for Vasil Bachev to show once again he can be the leader of the team and he′ll need the help of Gruev, Hristov and Olisemeka alongside the others.
