No trouble for Beroe for five in a row

BC Beroe recorded its fifth straight win in the Balkan League. That happened at home in Stara Zagora where the team defeated KS Teuta 108-65. The Greens started strong in the first quarter and with a good offense pulled away. In the second the lead was increased, it p?ssed the 20-point mark at the break and the hosts never had any trouble after that. This was Beroe′s last game of the year while on Thursday Teuta will visit BC Academic Bultex 99.

 

Teuta scored the first basket of the game and this was the only time the visitors were ahead. Then Beroe answered with 6 straight points and just before the middle of the first quarter the difference was 6. Until the end of it the hosts went on a 16-9 run and their lead reached 13 points. With four minutes played in the second quarter the difference went to 22 points. Until the end of the first half the team exchanged baskets and the margin remained the same. Beroe didn′t stop there and continued to push in the second half and extended their lead to win by a big margin.

 

Once again Conner Frankamp was the top scorer for The Greens as he finished with 17 points. Nikolay Stoyanov also did well with 16 points as Aleksandar Yanev had 14 and 8 rebounds.

 

Teuta was led by Endrit Hysenagolli who finished with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Eric Copes added 16 points while CJ Wilson scored 12.
