Two top four battles tonight

The last day of action in the Balkan League before the National teams break sees two  very important games. Both will start at 18:30 CET (19:30 EET) and will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube and SportMedia.tv. The games are KK Blokotehna against KS Teuta and the Bulgarian derby BC Beroe against BC Academic Bultex 99.

Blokotehna is the only team of the four above that hasn′t secured a Final Four spot but the team has good chances of doing so. The Gevgelija side will host Teuta and will try to get its second win over that team. The Macedonians of course will count on the firepower of Danilo Mijatovic and the help of Penn, Glavchev, Gaydis and Nikolikj. On the other side Teuta is coming fresh off winning the Cup of Albania and will be full of confidence. The team has a good core with Endrit Hysenagolli, Eric Copes and CJ Wilson who with the help of Lasku, Gorea and the latest additions Broyles and Brown, are forming a formidable team. Teuta is qualified for the Final Four but needs to get every win possible in order to secure the best position.

The other game sees the unbeaten BC Beroe hosting BC Academic Bultex 99. The home side will be looking to get its 9th win in a row and will look to Frankamp, Yanev, Zhelev, Stoyanov and White to lead the way. Bachynski has some injury problems and is still doubtful but this still hasn′t affected Beroe in the BIBL games. Academic on the other side lost its top scorer Daishon Knight and there will be no replacement of him for this game. The point guard duties will be shared by Gruev and Sekulov but the main weapon without doubt will be Vasil Bachev. In order for Academic to have a chance to win though the likes of Vitkovic, Olisemeka and Hristov will also have to step up as Knight′s points need to be somehow compensated.
