Domestic leagues: Wins for Blokotehna and Kozuv before the Cup finals

KK Blokotehna had an easy win in Macedonian league. The Gevgelija team visited Shkupi and took 102-53 victory. The visiting team led by just 3 points after ten minutes but at the break the difference was 17. In the second half they increased the lead for a big win.

Ilija Kolev had 20 points for the win as Dimitar Delipetrov and Stefan Gligorijevic had 17 apiece with the latter adding also 13 rebounds.

Kozuv also had a win in this round after beating Pelister 73-68 at home. The Gevgelija team did well in the first quarter going up by 11 and after 30 minutes led by 15. In the last ten the visitors tried hard and cut the deficit to just a point but in the last few minutes the hosts held on.

Nikola Karakolev was the top scorer for the winners with 19 points. Vladimir Ivelja had a double-double with 14 and 10 rebounds while Devaugntah Williams also had 14 points.

After 14 rounds Blokotehna is second in the standings with 12-2 record while Kozuv is tied for 6th with 7-7. Next week both teams will take part in the Final 8 of Macedonian cup which they will host in Gevgelija.
