Domestic leagues: Two away wins for Barsy Atyrau

BC Barsy Atyrau recorded two wins in Kazakhstan league. The team visited in two straight days the last placed Caspiy and won twice.

Barsy took 82-71 victory in the first match. The team got off to a slow start being down by 9 points after ten minutes. However after a very good second quarter the visitors took the lead and increased in the third to 12 points. That was enough as in the last ten minutes they held on for the win.

Donte McGill and Vladimir Ivanov were the top scorers with 20 points apiece as Bojan Bakic added 14.

The second match was much easier as Barsy won it 101-82. The team played a very good first half in which took a 16-point lead and had no troubles until the end.

Donte McGill was again the top scorer as he finished with 18 points. Vladimir Ivanov had 17 and 9 rebounds as Arkadiy Mkrtychyan added 14 and 10 for a double-double. 

Barsy is currently 4th in the standings with 12 wins and 10 defeats.
