KS Teuta finished the Regular season in style and surely made a statement before the Final Four. The Durres team hosted BC Beroe and won 87-85 after holding on the opponent′s comeback attempt at the end. This was The Greens′ first defeat of the season after winning 9 in a row before that. As for Teuta - the team ends the season with 8 wins and 4 defeats and keep its chances of finishing second or third before the Final 4. Now Beroe will travel to Gevgelija where the team will play Kozuv on Thursday.

The teams exchanged points in the first five minutes but then Teuta made a 9-0 run to go up by 11. The visitors closed the gap to 7 as the first quarter finished but in the second another 9-0 run gave the hosts a 14-point edge. They continued to control the game after that and as the first half ended the difference was 10.

After the break the home side managed to keep up its good lead as Beroe missed a lot of shots and made some mistakes. With a 6-0 run Teuta went up by 15 points which was the most in the game as until the third quarter ended the difference went down by just 2 to 13.

In the first minutes of the final quarter the margin was in the same range but the visitors didn′t stop fighting. They went on a 10-0 run to close the gap to just 5 and give themselves a chance. The run was stopped when Lasku scored one free throw but The Greens were in a good moment and had two shots to tie the game but Frankamp missed both. Then Lasku made a lay-up but Frankamp answered with two free throws. Lasku however did the same on the other side and then stole the ball to score again and put his team up by 7, with 35 seconds to go, which sealed the win. Until the end the visitors only managed to cut the deficit but didn′t really threathen its opponent.

The hosts were led by Endrit Hysenagolli who had a double-double with 25 points and 18 rebounds. CJ Wilson also did well with 24 points as Genti Lasku had 18, most of them coming in the end when it mattered the most.

Teuta had 11 offensive rebounds compared to Beroe′s 6 which led to 21-8 advantage in the second chance points.

As for Beroe the top scorer once again was Conner Frankamp with 18 points. Nikolay Stoyanov had 15 points while Aleksandar Yanev added 13.
