Ibar leads from start to finish for its third win
KK Ibar is back on winning ways after downing KB Vllaznia 93-75 at home. The Rozaje side led from start to finish and never allowed the visitors to come closer than 5 points. With that win Ibar is now with 3-1 record while Vllaznia is at 1-4. This was the Albanians′ last game for 2019 as next week Ibar is hosting Rahoveci.
The game started really well for the hosts who scored the first 9 points. After that they managed to control the advantage keeping it around 10. The first quarter ended with Ibar leading by double-digits and in the second the difference reached 13. The visitors however made an 8-0 run to close the gap to 5 and after the teams exchanged triples in the final seconds it stayed the same at the break.
In the first few minutes of the second half the teams remained close but then with few quick points Ibar restored the double digit lead. It remained until the end of the third quarter but the visitors didn′t give up and started the fourth well. That however was followed by a 14-6 run which decided the outcome.
The big difference between the teams was the 3-point shooting. The hosts made 13 from 26 while the visitors were 6 of 23.
Marko Ljujic was the top scorer for the hosts with 22 points. Nemanja Gavranic had 15 as Nedim Felec added 14.
The visitors were led by Colin Voss with 16 points as Devonte Thomas had a double-double with 14 and 12 rebounds.
