Schlatter leaves Mega Hypo Leasing for Germany

Christopher Schlatter moved from Serbian Eurohold BIBL participant Mega Hypo Leasing to German EnBW Ludwigsburg. The 27-year old 202 cm tall American forward is supposed to replace De`Angelo Alexander, who suffered a shoulder injury and will be sidelined for at least a month.Chris Schlatter arrived to Mega HL during the summer. He appeared 12 times in Serbian A league averaging 5.2 ppg and 2.5 rpg and 6 games in the Eurohold Balkan League with much better digits - 11.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg. He was a starter for his Serbian team in each of those six BIBL appearances.
Schlatter already has some playing experience in Germany, as he spent the 2006/07 season in 2. Bundesleague team TSV Troester Breitenguessbach. In 10 games there he added 12.5 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 1.9 apg. He missed much of the season before that due to a knee injury, after he had played in 11 games for BBC US Hiefenech Heffingen in Luxemburg. He graduated from Washington State University in 2005.
