Payabl EKA AEL achieved third victory in Delasport Balkan League. Cypriots defeated KK Lovcen after 78-61.

 
Here is what head coach Kalia Papadopoulou had to say following the win:

“I would like to congratulate my team for turning around the bad start we had. We managed to find our tempo and form by the end of the second quarter. Our game changed after the entrance of George Armakolas. The key to success was the team's defense, and we had Flowers performing well along with Mcclure, who played excellent defense and stopped Stefanovic, a great player.

In conclusion, I would like to dedicate this win to our outstanding fans today. Furthermore, I would like to thank our President, Mr. Michael Loizides, and the other members of the board, George Savva and Thomas Tsaloupis, for their contributions and efforts for the team."

George Armakolas was voted MVP of the match. He contributed to the victory with 11 points and 2 assists.

“This is the first time I've had an experience like this. At AEL, we are a family, and they love me. I would like to dedicate this win to Michalis Nikolaides and also express my gratitude to my coach and the Board for the trust and love shown to me.”
